Store unwashed fresh beans in a perforated plastic bag and refrigerate. Whole beans stored this way will stay for a week. Beans can also be frozen. They have the ability to retain valuable amounts of nutrients for 3-6 months after freezing.
They are used in curries, soups, stir-fry with rice, noodles and salads.
